Jimmy’s Story

Here is a wonderful update. Jimmy is now adopted and has gone to his forever home.

Help us help animals! The Muskoka OSPCA has recently had an alarming rate of animals rescued or surrendered that are in need of extra medical attention. These pets are sweet loving creatures that deserve a second chance. We are asking for the public's assistance to help save Jimmy and others like him who suffer in silence. Jimmy is a 9 year old Papillon who is great with dogs and cats. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle. He was surrendered through the cruelty investigations department and requires extensive dental surgery with a cost of approximately $800. Please drop by the shelter to make a donation or donate directly to our animal care accounts at both local vet clinics in Bracebridge. Jimmy will be in a foster home until he recovers from his surgery, however we are now accepting applications for his adoption and can arrange a meet and greet with approved adopters.
